Welcome to The Talent Scout!
The Talent Scout launched in 1996 with the sole intention of creating a platform for the U.K’s top, unsigned bands and artists to showcase their material to the people that matter – the music industry.
Since launching, The Talent Scout has been instrumental in uniting many unsigned bands and artists with record labels, publishers, managers and agents via our Central London gigs.
The Talent Scout was originally a monthly compilation CD and magazine featuring 10 of the UK's top unsigned bands which Record Companies etc subscribed to and recieved each month. It soon became aparent that in addition to hearing the bands - they wanted to see them perform too.
We convinced the manager of Cairo Jacks in Soho to let us turn his basement bar into a live music venue! In went a stage and PA and Cairo Jacks soon became one of the best A&R haunts in town.

Keeling went to see COLDPLAY at a new talent night at Cairo Jacks in Soho.
"It was about 11 oclock and there were about 30 people there. Chris was bubbling away with the charisma that he's got, but they were a university band just trying to get it together".
Keeling left without getting a contact number for their manager.
"I didn't even plan to keep an eye on them"
When Ciaro Jacks was sold to a wine bar chain, we continued to host showcases at several London venues including Dingwalls, The Borderline and Sound.
We've now taken residency and host a variety of regular, unsigned events at the venue STORM in London’s Leicester Square.
